Dr. Marco A.R. Mello, biologist

Main activities: scientific research, teaching, student mentoring and science popularization.

Research interests
My main research interest is the ecology and evolution of mutualism, especially between plants and animals. I investigate this interaction at different levels, from individuals to communities, in order to discover general processes that produce similar patterns observed at different scales. Bats have been my main study model.
